NICOLE KEENEY

I'm Nicole Keeney, and I'm a High School Math teacher in Socorro. I have been a member of our Union since the first day of orientation in my district. After a few years, I became my local's Vice President and started going to state level meetings. It's then I started to understand the true impact that our union can have on Educators and education in our state.

 

The next year I became President of my local. I have now been the Secretary of AFT New Mexico for two years and I have enjoyed getting to see this side of the union and continue to serve our union in every capacity that I can.
