Albuquerque – American Federation of Teachers New Mexico President Whitney Holland released the following statement:

“Our union is proud to endorse this additional cohort of legislators and candidates for office. Each have demonstrated a commitment to pro-public education polices, pro-working family legislation, and policies that put our students and communities first.

“Educators and labor members know each of these candidates will be strong partners in moving New Mexico forward and creating a state where we all can thrive. We congratulate each of them for their willingness to run in their communities and we will work diligently to see them elected this fall.”
