RACHAEL SONIA

Rachael began her career in education in 2008 as an elementary school teaching assistant. After earning her master’s degree in teaching in 2012, she began working as a secondary social studies and English language development classroom teacher. Since moving to New Mexico in 2017, she has been an active member of her local union, the Albuquerque Teachers Federation, serving as a federation representative at her school site, volunteering on the organizing team, singing in the union choir, sitting on the middle school task force, and participating in union leadership school.

 

Rachael is excited to represent K-12 educators across the state.
